OMG! I love it and I want one. I've never seen one like that before and I too would have grabbed it in a heartbeat. Lucky you!!!

I just saw one of those for $150 at a local antique mall. I would definately have bought it for $20, but I'm not gambling on $150. I don't even know if it works! It is adorable though, and I wish the one I saw were more in my price range!

Great buy, even if you might need some minor repairs. It is amazing what a good cleaning and light oiling can do to these classic machines. Good luck! Can just see that beautiful little girl sitting in front of this lovely pink machine and smiling from ear to ear. Such wonderful memories in the making.

It was just like this one and pink?

It's still awaiting a trip to the repair shop. It may sit a bit longer!

It was just like this one - but it was in a white cabinet. I'm not sure if the cabinet cost extra. Same name on the motor. I came home to search for it on the web, and yours came up. They look identical.

These brightly colored Japanese machines are so pretty. They
usually sew great too.

Just an update....I tried and tried but couldn't get it to sew. I hemmed and hawed as I really don't want to put a ton of money into it. But, I took it in today to the local sewing machine repair place. Immediately he told me the feed dog is broken. So, for $69.99 he'll get her up and running. So, a $20 machine is now $100 machine. Since I also had to buy a new belt. And I asked him to go through his old machines and see if he has any feet or a carrying case...so cha-ching. Maybe I'm dumb, but I just think the machine is too cute to part out.
