I love this quilt and the quilting is beautiful--awesome! I'm glad #1 piecemaker knows the name of the pattern. Thank you for that! I love the 30's patterns and fabrics. If anyone has floral feedsacks, I would love to have some more to use.
I grew up in Salado, TX, which is a small town in central Texas, so I know about small towns. We occasionally went to the next town from us, Belton, TX on Sat. and had hamburgers and malts. This was the late 50's, early 60's. My mother and her 2 sisters, both of my Grandmothers quilted, so I was around quilting growing up. I got away from it for a long time, but came back, and glad I did!

Lovely story and results!! I taught in several western states, including Washington (Oroville, early 1960s) and agree that small towns have their quirks and advantages. You did an excellent, artistic job on the quilt pictured
