Love them both! Absolutely stunning. Sorry that you did not get the best vibes from your sister. It is difficult when we grow apart from family. It took my sister and I almost 20 years before we began to see things in a different light. We are very close now though we live thousands of miles apart. Don't be too hard on yourself, when the time is right, the rift will heal. I think that she appreciates your gift but perhaps doesn't know how to show it without feeling embarrassed? I wish you both well.

Your parents were clearly overwhelmed by the quilt - its gorgeous! Looks lovely in their bedroom, too! Great idea with the quilt label -- it erases any problems later on. I would give your sister some time. She will show off the quilt to others who will recognize just how fantastic it is and comment on it (and how much work went into it) and realize how generous you were to do it for her. She's smiling, and her smile will be even bigger later on. Bless you for doing those for them!
