2 Doods: WOuld you mind showing us an example of a jar quilt? Or provide us to a link with a pattern? I've never heard of it! Sounds fun!

I am all caught up on assigning partners, etc. I will email them out on the 31st, or 1st, depending on how much free time I have. WOULD ANYONE MIND IF I ALSO SEND OUT DECEMBER'S PARTNERS? December is SO busy, that if I gave everyone their Dec. partner, they may be able to work on it before the holiday hoopla. However, the Dec. blocks should not be mailed out until December 1st.

Welcome to all the new swappers! This will be great fun!

OK by me...send Dec partner too. Does this mean we get a new partner/friend every month? Wow! How fun is that??!! And do the themes/colors stay the same?

    Thanx

Yup- the themes stay the same, but the partners change each month. When we're "done," theoretically in a year, you will have enough blocks to make a quilt.

I think sending out both months is a great idea. I agree December is such a busy month with 4 birthdays and cmas, it is especially busy here.

I have made "Bugs in a Bottle" Quilts for some of my grandchildren-So-o-o much fun. Of course I wasn't smart enough to take a picture of them. The bug fabric was cut 5 1/2"x9" with a cap on the top. I sashed them together with black, came out really pretty.

I am in too! Waited till I could think of my theme. This will be towards my gazebo which is in the middle of the woods, so I would like creme, dark brown, and olive green - if I may, please. The gazebo has dark wicker furniture and ceramic elephants and palm fronds as accents. Oooohhhhh, we have such a talented bunch of quilters, I can't wait! Please send me my Nov and Dec partner as well.
