Finished another block today for BuddysMom.

Will get pictures of this and the block I finished for OKDarla later today. Working on another block at the moment (not sure which member it is, it's the fabric with the puppies).

*yawn* goodness.. Math homework.. and hoooman interactions.. So tiring. Went oot and aboot yesterday, went oot and aboot today. Got family coming tomorrow (oh crud I gotta clean still!) then... no more hoomans for awhile. need to decompress. hehe.

Today.. was mini spa day.. nails, hair, unruly bushbaby eyebrows, and olive garden.. My friend gave me a card that has a singing cactus fridge magnet, it sings some tequila song is awesome.

Haven't gotten any progress on any more blocks but do have a good majority of a quilt top sewn together. woo. Have to put that on hold too until after I write my paper due on wed. bleh. I really don't know why this set of classes is kickin my butt.

Its not kicking our Butt girl its just challenging your talents. WE know your talented so its time you pull up those pretty little britches and just get to it. Done and behind you wouldnt that be lovely? a tequila magnet huh? oh dear it isnt an inspiration magnet ? like listen to me and well one more shot of cuervo.. gotta love that pal. And ok phonished blocks and oot and aboot.. did I miss the cocktail round? lol you guys are so goofy!

those blocks nygal are very pretty. you sent out several different fabrics I see. Love the red ones. hey is one of them a cat in a kimono or is itme with horrible eyesite.. bottom right pic cream fabric with it? someone with eyesite is it or what is it? I gotta know now as well cats in kimonos would be great to have..

I want all of you to know I made twenty ornaments today and got busted. watching paint dry. I kid you not I was outside painted one coat figured sit in a chair wait for it to dry only takes like 2 or three minutes, so I wait, spray the pine cones one more time lean over to check how they look fine.. figure it felt good leaning over so I sit like that relaxing my back and zoom a golf cart comes flying into the driveway.. what the heck? its my pal Cecil who is 85. He had driven by saw me leaning like that and turned around and came quick as a cricket over to see if I was ok. I said uh yeah. He says well what are you doing? I had scared him.. I said without thinking.. watching paint dry. lol I was too but sheesh dont say it outload you sure get goofy looks. I said no it had to dry first before i could coat it a third time and add glitter he still looked at me like I was nuts and said well ok then and left. I felt pretty dumb. I guess I hadnt said it well. but hey it does only take a couple minutes on pine cones if your ever wondering. three coats they look lovely and the glitter stuck wonderfully lol. last year I stupidly used floral spray glue. Little did I know it doesnt dry it stays tacky. I had glittered tacky ornaments up and they drove me bonkers. I gifted them to another person this last january. No more sticky pinecones for me. yikes. just in case you know like you were going to glitter some. lol what a mess. think I will stick more to sewing. Apparently I am better at it.

Are you.... did you just.... how dare you... tell me to put on my big girl britches.. hehehehe. Yes.. it's a cat in a kimono. Doing ninja things.

Since I"m from Minnesota.. most people say I don't have an accent but then every once in awhile.. this thing happens.. I don't know what it is... and it's only those two words.. but I suddenly sound Canadian.. and APPARENTLY.. that's close enough to be considered a Minnesotan accent. Kinda like that movie Fargo.. haven't met anyone in MN that talks like that.. but everyone thinks we do now. But my out and about's come out REALLLY close to oot and aboot. it's worse on my abouts. hehe.

Well.. I got one ornament finished or your tree mrs brat. I even complied with colors. Mostly cause I actually had red and thought what I had was purple.. but it was red sure enough. Yep.. can't cut a curved line, can't cut a straight line, can't sew a straight line, definitely can't sew a curved line, can't do anything spacial-ly equal. I stopped trying. also.. my flower.. well.. one petal is on steroids, one is all teeny. Bleh. I ripped out the white heart blanket stitch about 6 times before I remembered how to do it right. Now.. do I want to make more of these...

Oh btw this was my original idea for the ornament swap but didn't make it for that.
