This reminds me of the photos of the tulip farms in Holland. They're gorgeous and your quilt is evey more gorgeous.

It's easy. Trust me, if I can do it, YOU can do it. Much easier than it looks. Choosing the fabrics is the hardest part by far. I have at least 10 photos of the FINAL decision.

The first Bargello I did was Twisted Bargello . This one is Surf Song and is sooooo much easier.
Hey Barnbum, ABSOLUTELY gorgeous!!! AND, thanks for mentioning the Surf Song is much easier. Just about finished my first bargello (at least the piecing part!), and I just got my book for the Surf Song. I think from what I learned from this first one, the hardest part is keeping yourself organized (other than picking colors, which, for me, was a KILLER).
And you don't have to be quite as organized for this one--I'm cutting rows as I go. The design is straightforward. So much easier and faster!!

I would've never thought to use all florals in a bargello, but your's is beautiful! Did you get the idea from your dad's flowers?

Beautiful!!!! Love the flowers. Sitting at work, looking out the window at a gray, dreary sky and then I see this quilt. And there is Spring and Summer. I can't wait to see it finished. Now I want to run home and pull out all my flower fabrics for a quilt!
