It is absolutely the most wonderful treat in the world to have a nice space to sew. Many happy sewing days to you.

I love it! You've got your computer, your TV, your sewing space. I could disappear for days in a room like that. Happy quilting :D

What a lovely sewing room....i dream one of these days I will get to do that. So for future reference...your sewing table-is that a desk with a piece of countertop on it OR a set of 3 drawers w/countertop on top? Also how big is your countertop?
(pardon some mistakes....need new keyboard for my laptop..u wouldn't believe how long it took me to type this..grrrr:(

My sewing table is just 2 sets of three drawers with a countertop laid on top. I haven't measured it exactly, but it's about 6 feet long. Nothing is even attached together, but to get the countertop lifted up so I can open the top drawers, there are a couple of 2 x 4's that are laid on top of the drawer sections. Some day I hope to have more of a U-shaped sewing area, but that's going to take a while to accomplish. I live only about 45 minutes from Joliet.
