This was very special!

I used to work with special needs kids and this was so great to see. So many times most folks would have preferred to just avoid us when we went to activities with the kids. Great to see Nina and friends enjoying herself.

Our austic GD lives with us and has almost since birth. Music has had a very special and postive impact in her life and development. Until she was about 10 years old, she could not communicate very well verbally. Music therapy helped her develop her verbal skills. She learned to say her name, address and phone number thru singing. She learned the days of the week, months of the year, colors thru songs. As she sang these songs her words became clearer and from there more and more verbal skills developed. Music is still a very important part of her life and I cannot express to you how happy I am to know and see that the musicians of that band recognized the importance of music to your child. Perhaps only folks with a deep love and knowledge of music can understand how our souls are stirred and healed by the melody of a song.
