I'm not generally a gadget person. I find that I use the same few tools over and over again. But one thing I did read about in a recent post was using a metal magnetized dish to hold pins. They don't fall off because of the magnet. I bought one for $4 at Harbor Freight! I love it. My cats like to play with pin cushions, so I find pins and needles all over the floor when they're done. This way, everything stays attached to the dish.

I had to have one. I will keep you posted. I'm such a sucker for gadgets.

Wow, a little too $$$ but looks neat. I've used pincushions for so many years and I have several in the sewing room.

i tried one at the fabric store. it is pretty neat. if you let go of the dispenser button quickly it will shoot the pin across the room. (it was an accident, i swear)

still a little spendy but probably worth it if you pin a lot.

Yep--love those round rubber things, usually given out to advertise something like an investment company--they're great for opening a hard-to-open jar.

I think it would take up to much room in my tiny quilting area, as well as the price. I think I will stick with my pin cushion. :)

I went to our local Dollar Tree store and bought several of the magnetic paper clip holders, took them home and "stood" my pins up in them so I just have to grab them as I go. Works just great for me.

My husband (Jack) calls me the gadget queen. However, I have bought a few that didn't pan out so well. If you can afford it, and want it, buy it! I will pass on this one, as I have many, many pin cushions, boxes, etc already and don't need something that big on my sewing table. Thanks for sharing and letting us see it. Have fun today!!
