    Funny you should say that. Here in Newfoundland, Ca. we are in the beginning of a real heavy snow storm. Expecting up to 30 cms (around 16 - 17 inches). Last year we had no snow until Jan., but like you say, it appears to be a bad winter ahead. I feel like moving down south....

    Here in Oklahoma we don't see a tenth of the snow some of you do, we just get the ice storms! Since I work for the highway dept. I know first hand what the road conditions are going to be like. Stay warm and take care of yourselves out there this winter; be safe on the roads and Godspeed.

    It's cooler here much earlier than normal years (whatever normal is) and we are still in desperate need of water. Lakes are having to much evaporation and need to be replenished.
