Love, love, love...the story, the quilt & your beautiful work. Really like this pattern,b ut don't find anything under Journey to Arkansas. Is there maybe another name associated witht his pattern. REALLY like it & would like to give it a try. Doesn't look too difficult. Thanks or sharing your work with all of us quilting sisters here on the board. We love you dear lady.
But the pattern calls for 3 1/2" small squares and 6 1/2" for the white squares. But I have read some threads on Arkansas Crossroads and it sounds like some people use a jelly roll for the small squares which would mean they are 2 1/2" squares. Then what size would the large white square be? Anyone know? I want to make one of these quilts and am wondering if it would look best made with 2 1/2" or 3 1/2" small squares? Any opinions? Charisma, do you remember at all what size the small squares were on the one you quilted?
