This is a snuggly that I am making for Kylie Overton a 2 yr old from our area that has Brain Cancer. It is a panel hand sewn to a large pc of green fleece. Do you think it would be better to bind it with pink Bias or do a Blanket stitch by hand around it with pink floss. Pic shows Bias color. I need to get it done and off to her. Suggestions please, Blanket stitch, Bias, Other?

I agree, I would bind it, will stand up to multiple washings and dryings bettter w/out loss of shape. What a lovely thing for you to do!

What a wonderful gift for such a sad situation. I agree too that binding it would be better.

I would bind it rather than risk her little fingers getting stuck in the blanket stitching. That is a very sweet thing to do for her.♥

I would bind it too...adds a nice frame and is very durable. What a kind thing to do...I am sure she will love it.

When I make a fleece blanket, I fold it under about 1/4 " and machine blanket stitch around. It makes a tight hem and is very sturdy. It would be nice to embroider her name on it. My grandkids love their blankets with their names on them.
