what width of tape measure do you use. 1/2 3/4 1 inch or does it not really matter

I use 1/2 inch I dont relly thinks it matters

I used 3/4 " on mine but would use 1" on any more that I make. I think it does make a difference. I think the 1" tape "snaps" better. JMO

not sure width makes a difference but I have found that I like the "snap" better when I use a double layer of tapes.
