My 3 year old DS loves Toy Story. I picked up some fabric to make a quilt for his bed now that I have finished painting his room and putting up the border. Here are the fabrics that I chose. What patterns are good for boys? Should I use all of the coordinating fabrics or leave some out?

How about a disappearing 9 patch? Like the fabrics.

Your choices make me smile:) I think the D9P would be good too.

I have not tried the disappearing 9 patch. Is a difficult pattern?

    I agree!
    No, it's real easy-pisey!

It is on UTUBE go there and follow the directions. I have not done one either but it is wicked easy. You can do it!!! The fabrics are so cute! My first thought was a DP9 also. How funny is that?!

It is an easy pattern and if you do it with the novelty prints in the four corners of the nine-patch, you won't have to cut them. I did an eye-spy that way for my son with the D9P.

I would use all the fabrics but the green I would use sparingly and throughout the quilt. maybe a small inner border too. It is a wow color and works best for me in this manner.
