How many of you are going to the annual quilt show in Paducah in April, from the 27th to the 30th? I have been through there many, many times but have always been in a hurry to get to Ft. Campbell to see my grandkids. This year I think I will go.

"hangs head" I live less than 15 minutes from there and have never been. Work during the week and play with DH & other family on weekend.

Myself and 3 others are driving for the 2nd year in a row. We go early (Monday) to avoid some of the crowds. Make sure you have Reservations for Rooms and special meals (Patti's Settlement at the land between the lakes), Play tickets, etc. Biggest problem is a vehicle large enough to haul our stuff back! Last year we had a Suburban SUV and it was packed full.

We are planning to go and will take our RV to a campground at Land between the Lakes. Quilt Show and Spring Shakedown for the RV at the same time ;-)

It is wonderful, lots of vendors and lots of places all over town to shop for fabric. If you get to go be sure and go to see Eleanor Burns she has a shop set up in a park and gives a free show. She is a hoot and has a tent full of fabric for cheap prices, usually around $5.00 yd. I can't remember the name of the park but just ask at the convention center and someone can tell you

There are venders everwhere. I did not make it to Lonoak and my quilting group said they had a great selection. When you are at the show there are buses that will take to some of these places.
