i thought it was about time i showed a few things! i still have to quilt the baby floral as well as the purple table topper but you can still see what i have done. the floral quilt i would like to quilt with the small diamonds in bubbles or something small to 'smash' it down, the larger diamond leave untouched so that it puffs up and maybe adds some dimension to the mess, and i have no idea about the rest of it! you are all so talented and i consider it a priviledge to be around such wonderful, kind people! thank you!

very center of diamonds so you can see what i mean

I like your quilting idea. Maybe stipple in the small diamond centers. If you do this with machine quilting, you might want to figure out a 'travel' stitch pattern to get from one center to the next. It's a pain to have to tie off each separated area, but it will make the outer squares puff up. Then I guess I would do a larger meander patttern in the areas around the bigger diamonds. Just re-read this, sounds clear as mud! Pretty quilt!
