After my grandpa passed away in May I decided to make wallhangings for each of his children and grandchildren out of his clothes. This is the first one that I am making, and I think it is turning out nice. Only 6 more hummingbirds, and two eagles to go. This is also the first stained glass quilt that I have made, and it is really easy so far.

This is great. You have done such a nice job.

How are these assembled? You have such a nice point on the hummingbird beak.

That's so pretty. I can't believe it's your first effort at stained glass. You're doing an excellent job.

That's a very thoughtful gift to pass along. I've never used mixed fabrics when doing the stained glass, have you got wools, polys, cottons all in there? Are you making your own bias or is is premade?

Oh no, that's not 'nice'....that's absolutely exquisite!!!!! Whatever you used for the wings, B-E-A-T-I-F-U-L! The texture it has makes it look like feathers. WOW! Your so good to make these for your family. They will remember both of you when they look at it.

Can I ask where you got the pattern? My sister loves hummingbirds.
