Thanks. A little over a month ago I came down with shingles on the face which affected my eye. My crafting time is limited but it is getting better. Thanks everybody for the well wishes.
There was just a story on the news last night about a rise in shingles, seems that there is so much stress out there now, that shingles in the mid aged is on the rise.
The bad part is that it can attack any place on the body that is weaker. Lots of people get them in joints, around the waist, etc. They settle around areas that there are nerve endings and clusters. There are a lot of nerve endings around the eye. Sigh. At least the eye is staying open longer now. Even after a month I still have swelling above the eye lid and into the hair line. The doctor says it is normal and that I have to be patient. Obviously he doesn't do crafts and doesn't have fabric and patterns calling me...missing me. :)

Thanks. I've only gotten one of the corner blocks done so still have three more to go so you really aren't behind much. :) Just take your time. This isn't something that can be rushed. It IS fun though. :)

April 8th officially, but I'll post it the evening of the 7th as I won't be home on the 8th!

This month I will post a block and the inside swag border, so everyone can get started working on it.

Remember to look for a new thread in the block of the week and month section; April Baltimore BOM.
