    Do you have a fool proof way of cooking it?
    Looking for a recipe that comes out nice & tender!

    I just put it in the crock pot with about one fourth cup of water on low for about 8 hours. It works for me.

    easy enough! only 1/4 cup? wow i would have smothered the thing in like a quart!

    crock pot, set it in with water and turn on and forget about it, comes out tender every tme right beofre it is done I put in my carrots, potatoes and cut my cabbage in wedges leaving the core so it does not fall apart, and wulla corn beef and cabbage dinner, and the corn beef just falls apart yummy...getting hungry..

    I usually just cover it with water though....because I put my vegetables in at the very end....about an hour for the veggies

    thanks I will be there about 6ish, it is going to take me a few hours to get there...LOL should I bring the wine or green beer....LOL I hope it turns out yummy for you....it is really quite simple....just think you can sew while it is cooking and filling your house with yummy smells....
