I just discovered that my cat has taken a love to my quilt-in-progress and it is covered with fur. What is the best way to remove all this ... fur that is, not the cat!

I throw items in the dryer with a dryer sheet...run on air or low temp. Works fairly well. May have to us a lint roller too. Good Luck.

Use some painter's tape wrapped sticky side out around your hand and pat the quilt in progress.. it will pick up the hair and not damage your quilt. You may have to change tape often depending on the amount of fur..

I was going to say shave the cat. But, I guess that's not an option. The lint remover rollers or masking tape would be my best suggestion or maybe vacuum it:) Toss in dryer with a dryer sheet.

I use a lint roller.

I use a lint brush. My dog thinks the quilts r hers also! She doesn't shed bad but still sheds some!!

I found a thing called a Fur Fighter by Scotch that's amazing at taking car fur off of everything. It's even better than a sticky roller.

I keep a pet lint roller right near my table and use it regularly before ironing or sewing. They work great and then you won't have to remove the cat (smile). We all love our fur babies so we must accommodate where we can.
