Wow beautiful love between a mom and daughter. God bless this relationship. Keep it up with your mom, her blessings are priceless, and i would treasure this pincussion for the rest of my life

What a sweet story. Hold tight to it. What a memory.

I too have lost my mom and I am the keeper of her sewing basket, accessories, and an old black singer machine. I don't use them, but every now and then, I take them out and caress them fondly. Mother owned her own businesses and the machine and accessories were used mostly for mending or an occational hem. But, it reminds me of her dearly.

I also have her button box. Some of those buttons I remember on her clothing.

This is why I gave my younger sister my bernina 830. It was in perfect condition with every foot you could buy for it. That machine will pass down to her girls someday.
