I started quilting when mine were little.. Did a lot of Log Cabin and folded stars.

just a chance, but look at the center of the accent ! looks like I planned the center! now we know where the center is from start to finish too ! whoo hoo !

This is the tute I was talking about. This block is so easy to make and really dresses up a block. It is expecially good for baby quilts. I embroided a baby girl's initial in the center of the ten minute block, then stitched it down to use as the focal point of the quilt. Such a fun way to embellish.

i COULDN'T FIND IF YOU STATED WHAT SIZE YOU CUT THE STRIPS AND THE SIZE OF THE MIDDLE BOX. THANKS.
i LOVED THIS PATTERN AND WILL MADE A BABY QUILT IN NEAR FUTURE WITH IS PATTERN

2 1/2 inch strips, to make 6 1/2 in block. think that is what I did with a 1/4 inch seam allowance.

my favorite block is a 6 1/2.. have a template for that.
