this quilt is being made by my dh.. he wanted to do a pattern not yet been done by me. i had this one and it is being made for my grandson for xmas..it is the last of the 8 to be made. It will be in a football theme .. dh has gone from simple sq blocks to this one.. I think it's amazing ! He is quite bonded with his little singer too..notice it's not the featherweight this time...lol

this is the beginning.. first block was brought to me for an inspection... i think he doesn't need me anymore !!

I have said before..my dh was in construction so doing this is a far cry from concrete and asphalt work.

Think of it as transferrable skills ... he knows the importance of attention to detail.

Though I might fear the competition for your stash! Better lock it up and tell him to start his own.

He's doing great! I tryed to get my DH to try it by telling him it's just another machine but he said no :(. My son said he'd try if it meant he could quit his job........... I guess I'll be the only quilter in the house after all!
