I found this old quilt top in some of my mom's things. My sister and I think our grandmother made it. It's hand pieced. I plan to hand quilt it using fabrics from my mom's stash. That way the topper that I hope to salvage from it will have some of both their things.

I really like that combination of stars and hexagons.
And YELLOW in a quilt - looks bright and cheerful.

My grandmother passed away in 1992, so it's quite old. I really think she made it long before her death. I never saw it before and we spend lots of time together. I'd love to be able to have it dated.
