Mail to Canada is resumed!

Resumption of Acceptance of Canadian Mail
Effective Tuesday morning, June 28, 2011, the US Postal Service™ will resume accepting all mail destined to Canada. As a result, offices will be able to once again accept these mailings.
Tuesday morning, June 28, 2011 Point-of-Service (POS) equipment will be programmed to enable acceptance. Integrated Retail Terminal (IRT) and Contract Access Retail System (CARS) locations should be notified immediately that they may begin accepting this mail on Tuesday morning, June 28, 2011. Offices will need to work closely with their Retail Associates and Contract Postal Units (CPUs) management to ensure they are aware and may resume acceptance.
Automated Postal Center® (APC®) locations should ensure the suspension notice is removed from their APC no later than Tuesday, June 28, 2011.
