My mom recently came home from the nursing home and lives with my dad and me. I made her covers for the arms of her new chair. She loves them.

I also made a cute clutch. Got the pattern from Allfreesewing.com - gathered clutch.

That's a great idea. I love the covers. I need to do that for one of my chairs. Thanks for sharing the link for the pattern to.

Oh, and I'm so glad your Mom got to come home from the nursing home. I know she will love that.

Oh how thoughtful you are, what a pick up these arm rests will give her. My DIL is like this can not do enough, wants me to move from FL to TN but don't think I am ready for this just yet. Know your dad is pleased to have his lovely wife home.

Thank you! Mom was in the nursing home for nearly two years and continued to improve 'til she could come home with dad and me. They have been married 63 years and I wanted them to be back together. Dad likes having her home, too. I'm very blessed!

I'm so happy for your mom that she was able to come home. Those arm covers are great. Did you have a pattern or just wing it?
