Sometimes I'm just a little slow to figure things out. I have been using the same steam iron for many years now. Well, several months ago (maybe a year) it starting leaking water out of the steam holes. It would leave marks on whatever I was ironing. I didn't want to buy a new iron then and I don't now. I have looked around at them and found one I might like to get at WalMart. Still, I don't want to spend the money. I finally figured out my solution last night around midnight after it once again leaked water on the very pale yellow fabric I was ironing. The thought occured to me that if I quit putting water in it, it couldn't leak water out of it. DUH!!! So now I am using it as a dry iron and doing just fine with it. Why did it take so long to figure that out?

Yeah if you need to use water just put it in a spray bottle and spritz as you go. LOL
