Ok, are you sick of looking at my work yet? :-)
Here is my new purse. The pattern is in Sonie Ruffin's Book. The pattern called for the bag to be open. I live in NYC. We have to keep stuff zipped up!

Very nice bag and I understand the need for the zipper - lived in the Washington DC area for 23 years! A zipper also keeps things from falling out! Nice job.
