This is the mini quilt I made for the Cincinnati Modern Quilt Guild mini quilt swap I participated in this week. I used a tutorial from Lily's Quilts blog to make these trees and scrappy pieced the "grass". I really enjoyed this technique - it's very easy and fun and very unique-looking. I FMQ'd the sky, but don't look too closely - it's a hot mess!

I love this! Modern quilts just catch my eye. They are so simple but artistic. You did a wonderful job!

Great technique, pattern and choice of fabrics and colors, it's a winner!
