Here is a quilt I designed for a Cowboy friend of mine. I included the American Flag fabric because he is very patriotic, Mountain and pine tree fabric because he loves camping, friendship stars because he is a dear friend. Good luck horseshoes so he will always have good luck, Pistols because he is always "packin". He wanted a picture of me on it but I didn't think that would go well on a cowboy quilt. Then I found the fabric with the blond cowgirl on the fence looking over her shoulder at the cowboy and thought that would make a great substitute. ha, ha. He was thrilled with the final project.

Interesting quilt! Love anything with western theme. Are the guns applique or did you find fabric like that?

What a great idea/quilt, and you put so much thought into it! I bet he was thrilled! He's a lucky guy to have you for a friend :-)
