My Very First Attempt at Free Motion Quilting!

Its FINISHED!!!! I finished binding it this evening! I am really happy with the results! I still have a lot of practicing to do especially keeping all my stitches fairly the same, but I found it got a bit better toward the end of the quilting!

Anyway, I wanted to share the results with you. This is my Gentleman's Fancy Quilt. Well it's more a large lap quilt. I thought I would start small in the quilt department doing this technique to see if I could manage a larger size. I know I can now! I don't think I could ever go back to straight quilting stitching again!

That's really beautiful! You did an amazing job and should be very very proud!
What are your plans for the quilt? Keeping it? A gift?

Oh My, that is drop dead gorgeous, you sure did master the quilting. Love the pattern and colors too.

Since it's my first attempt, I don't feel confident to give it away or sell it. And well it is my first time, so I want to keep this one for myself!
