My kitty, Pumpkin, loves to drape herself on whatever I am working on. She could be asleep but as soon as that mat comes out she jumps up and flops down but I can't resist her she is so sweet.

I enter the room and she is asleep in her favorite box lined with her pumpkin quilt. The box has seen bettter days.

She see the mat come out and flies out of the box just waiting for fabric to be put down.

After I pick her up several times to move her to another part of the table she decides to nap with her sister but notice the watchful eye.

After a quick nat she is back...hopefully giving her paw of approval.

They must learn to do this in cat kindergarten. My cats all do the same thing! And if I'm reading something, they hve some way of knowing exactly which part I'm reading so they can cover it up with a casual paw--or even just lying down on it!

I have a Tortoise Shell cat that could be Pumpkin's twin.
