DH HAS TO BE FEELING THE SAME THING TOO????
Start designing a new room now for when your able to move back to the USA.....Might help you???

Good luck on selling your house quickly so that is one less worry. You have it organized so wonderfully you should be able to fly through the valuation process. At least they will be packing it up for you (will you get to supervise?).

The time will speed by and you'll have a great time making new memories...be happy you get to go with him -- so many would love to be able to be with their mates while they are away...lucky you.

Perhaps you could also have some other kits made up and left with a friend/family to mail to you every few months so you'll have new projects. But of course the markets there will yield such treasures, you may be sending new fabric home from there.
