Default Old board? New board? QUILTING BOARD

I've seen so many posts about the "loss of the old board", but the real loss is the people who have chosen to leave. Have you ever bought a new house, a new car, new furniture? Painted a room? Bought new draperies or bedspread or dishes or clothes? Did you mourn the old? Maybe so, but I hope not. I hope everyone can continue to find friendships and enjoyment in the people of the Quilting Board...THIS board, not old or new.

Losing people is a cause for mourning... I know... I lost most of my family within two days a couple of years ago. So, reading new titles or clicking new buttons to continue to share and learn with my quilting friends here is an adventure and a learning experience. I'm going to continue to enjoy it!

I sure hope there are lots of you out there who are with me!

oh yeah, not jumping ship. Just trying to navigate and learn more about it. I'm seeing people have found lots of new and exciting things, like albums, how to change fonts, colors etc but I haven't even tried that yet.

Ditto! When I first came to the board, it was "new" and "unfamiliar", yet somehow I managed to find my way around and learn stuff. I'm pretty sure I can do that again!

It's all in the attitude.

Click on "My Profile" at the top of the page. Then on the left of the page under your avatar pic is a link to your topics and your posts. Easy to find :-)

Yep...I'm with you all the way. The Board is a community of members. Although people come and go for various reasons, many of us choose to stay because the community is worth the effort...just like any relationship!!

I'm slowing figuring it out. Won't leave it - have had so much fun and so much information and made some good long distance friends.

To find your list of topics:

click on: My Profile - located at the top of the page near the right hand side

After that shows up,

click on: Find Latest started threads - located on the left hand side of the page - it's under the avatar

You can click on some other things, too - when you are "over there"
