Default fabric ideas for DIL's quilt

I'm looking at these to make a quilt for my beautiful DIL. I showed her the fabrics yesterday and she loved them. I was thinking of trying a D9P. Still not sure of all the fabrics, just "auditioning" them. haha

They look great together and would look awesome as a D9P! If it were me, I'd use the creamy colored on as the center square of the 9-patch, the darker ones in the outer corners and the blues on the rest.

Love the fabric choices, and I love D9Ps. I can visualize a D9P using the two patterns for the four squares on the corners, the white for the center block and the teal that is next to the white for the other four block pieces. Then a small inner border using a brown fabric and an outer border in either piece of the teal or one of the prints. Sometimes after the inner blocks are made, it changes my opinion of what the borders should be. So, be flexible! I'm sure whatever you decide on will be beautiful! With these fabric choices, it'll be a winner!

Beautiful fabric choices; I especially like the large print. Will it be used for borders and/or backing? Looking forward to seeing the finished project.

If you have enough of the large print, it'd make a very interesting OBW or 4PP or SAW.
