It is not a Japanese 15 clone - it looks like a White I have - maybe it was badged. I haven't worked on mine yet so don't know much. The missing slide plate should look like a T-shirt

It's a badged White...judging from the missing "tshirt" plate... American made, I'd be tempted to pay that and refurb...
