Default Trying to Decide re: singer industrial

is there anything special about a 96-85 in an industrial table? I see it is a 'vertical trimming" machine.
price is not bad, but it would be a minor nightmare to arrange pickup etc on and I am unsure if or Why i want it.
So does anyone think I should bother with an old black straight stitch industrial ? (late 30's)

    thanks
    Dan

    Hi Dan,

I have a 96-87 which I assume is the same machine without the fabric trimming (which seems pretty neat and I'd hope would be removable if not wanted). Similar in appearance to the famous 31-15 except it's a Rotary. If the price is right and your looking for a high speed machine for light to medium weight fabrics with a large harp, I'd go for it.
