Default Ideas for Little Paper Bags?

I save all of these from shopping. I don't shop a lot but over the years have accumulated quite a few. I'm now trying to go green and refuse bags whenever possible. But, what to do with these? HGTV shows have turned them into gift bags by putting something decorative over the store logo, but I don't know if I have time or am creative enough. I used to carry my lunch to work in this size but received 2 insulated lunch bags as gifts so no longer bring these. Any ideas or should I just recycle these? They are in really good shape.

I have put several different "to do projects" and some unfinished projects in ones like these and have them on the shelves in my sewing room.

If you don't want to use them you can recycle them. I store my UFO sometimes in them and use a shower hook through the handles to hang them in the spare closet on the rod. I don't bother doing anything fancy to use them as gift bags. I save them for quick gift ideas and just put my gift in them with fancy tissue paper and ribbon on the handles. I do try to not re-gift Vistoria Secrets bags or something similar to the guys unless as a joke.

I was thinking the same thing. I figured to use a cute cut out or clip art to cover the logo so the recipient wouldn't be excited and then disappointed if the gift was not from that store.

Our Goodwill takes bags like that, and also plastic bags. They use them for customers' items.

Oh, great idea. I bet my local food bank my need them, also. They have an area that is just for toiletries and many of them are the travel size.

I knew I'd get great ideas from everyone. Thanks!

I use mine as trash/thread catchers beside my machine when I go to the guild's community quilts sewing days; or to workshops.

Glue applique flowers, cutouts, etc to them then tie with ribbon.

Our library takes bags donations to use when someone checks out a large number of books. Very helpful for mothers with small children.
