I loved the girl and flower quilt, the name was something like going blooming crazy, wheres the blooming petal. The girls hair looks just like my daughters!! I was walking around looking and wondering how many board member's quilts were hanging that I was looking at!

I saw the tent makers interview online. Those men are mind boggling! People don't need many tents anymore so they make quilts. Just sit and sew 'em. They can do hand applique 100 miles an hour. You can't believe the skill and speed. If you get a chance to watch the video of them, you will be amazed.

The quilt top left ( sand storm over white desert) is by a lovely lady who lives in my home town, this quilt is spectacular up close, I really love how Jenny combines piecing with the most amazing applique. There is more of her work here http://www.jennybowker.com/quilts/
