You could speak ENGLISH with Scottish accents and keep us guessing for hours! LOL

We've been watching Monarch of the Glen - got the DVDs from Netfix - and love it. Wonder if you've seen it? It was produced by (forgive me if I'm saying this wrong) the Scottish version of BBC. We visited Scotland in '87 when DD and SIL lived in Glasgow for 1 1/2 years. Loved it, and this series recalls the beauty for us.

Yes have seen that programme, but they have got very watered down accents, a bit on the posh side if you get my drift. :D

:D :D :D :D
When my Mum and I were in Edinburgh one day we were looking in one of the shop windows and suddenly became aware of a couple behind us. they were American and were just listening to us talk, we just smiled, luckily we were just saying nice things about what was in the window. :D

Have to say you have to go a long way to match the beauty of the Scottish scenery.

Here here Elle - I LOVE Scotland and would happily live there if it wasna for the midgies and the rain!

Specially the Western Highlands - Glencoe, Rannoch Moor - majestic scenery, nothing to beat it!

I always remember the scenery on the way up to Loch Lomand, diodnīt see the monster, but there was a very peculiar rush of water as we sat on the shore having a picnic. scary, but then I could only have been about 9-
