Default Check out this ABCD Quilting site...

I attended the Desert Lilies Quilt Show in Yuma and Kim was demo-ing her technique. The book is well written and easy to understand. I have bought a 1/2 yard of 3 fabrics and will try it out this week!!

The link doesn't give any information about this method. The picture of the samples is intriguing, but there doesnt seem to be any description/explanation for those who might be interested in the technique. Her workshops also seem very expensive. What is it all about? Does she have special tools, a new method of measuring, planning or cutting?

Definately not enough information on her web-site that would make me want to purchase her book.

I took a workshop from Kim just this month in Prescott. She is a great teacher and her book is very easy to follow. No special tools needed. I would highly recommend the book and her workshop was very reasonably priced.

A full day class is $30 per person. That is a very reasonable fee for all day. Her trunk show is guild program cost, not class fees.
I'll be very interested in knowing what you think about the method so don't forget to post.

I also took her workshop in Prescott. Played with several versions on the design wall before deciding which one to choose. Added a 4th color - black - which really makes things pop. Will add the HSTs I salvaged to the borders. These shots were on the design wall before being sewn together. Thanks, Kim, for the great workshop!
