    Some of you asked to see pictures of my first BOM from FQS. Well, it was the perfect day to get some sewing done, and I did it! It is by far the most involved block I've made so far, and I am pleased with it.

    Hey, well done, very accurate, and you have enough left around the edges that you won't cut off the points when you sew on the next block - that's what caught me out when I did my first ones.

    Thank you for your kind words. I can't take any credit for the colours, as it is a mystery BOM. I am still not confident in my colour choices, and thought this would be a way to make a pretty quilt without second-guessing myself. I can just concentrate on developing my piecing skills.
