Ok I finally got Jaba's block done it's called True Lovers Knot

Now I can take some time and go look at all the other blocks listed here. I've been so busy sewing I've missed all the goodies.

The last one for me is Nancie's but that one will take a few days because this scrappy thing is so new to me but I'm loving how it's coming together.

Wow is all I can say about all the blocks being done. They are all so pretty. I'm not predigest or nothing but I think the blocks you ladies made for me are the BEST EVER.
Thanks so much for all your beautiful work I can hardly wait for them to come home so I can join them together. I think my GD will lose out on this one as I'm contemplating keeping it for myself even if she did pick out the fabric, it was my money that bought it. So if she want to calls me a mean grandma, I can deal with that. LOL
Keep up the great work ladies!!!

I'm laughing to myself because i really thought scrappy would be the easiest for y'all to do, but i think people are waiting til last--out of dread? In real life I've never done a truly scrappy quilt myself, but i love them! Will be using the scraps i kept for sashing and border.
seasaw-- you can tell dgd that the quilt is hers for use at your house, and she can inherit it! My best quilt is an all silk crazy i inherited from my g'mother. BUT, my favorite quilt is a scrappy utility quilt made by my other gramma. I still pull it out and sleep with it in the summer. The backing has rayon i think, and i just the love the way it feels. And it takes me back to 5 yrs old and sleeping over for two weeks in the summer! Loved her, it, and all about it!

terriamn, what kind of label maker do you have that you use to do the names on the blocks? Are they sticky sided so they stay on the block when you send them out?
