Default Double flannel baby blankets

I made these for a grandma expecting her first. It is a girl. The blankets are 42" square , double sided, quilted in straight columns and ric rack around the outside. I hope she likes them. Thanks for looking

These are beautiful. I am working on some for my daughter now! I have trouble with them though - sometimes, I have a little "fold" of fabric that doesn't quite line up. Any suggestions on how to prevent that? I'm just learning to sew. Worked real hard on it last summer and then got busy with school so planning to get back into it again.

    Thanks!!

Very pretty. I like the rick rack trim. I make them to donate to a hospital in need.

Of course the Grandmother of the 'most adorable baby to be on earth' will love them. Great idea for a first time grandparent, too!

Hi , I put right sides together and cut both pieces the same size pin on each side before you sew 1/2 inch and after you sew each side lay it all on the flat surface and smooth it out. then on the the last side leave open about four inches to turn. poke outhe corners and press all edges smooth. Then I stitch 1/4 inch all around the edges. Put ric rack or some trim on the edges.
