Default Projects Made With Grand Daughter

School is back in session so now have time to post the projects made with My 8 yr old grand daughter over the summer break.

This is her apron made with her favorite out-grown denim skirt

Here is the bag and accessory bag made from her jeans with heart pockets and a fabric with sneakers on it that she just adored.

Those projects are really adorable! Isn't it wonderful to spend time with your granddaughter like that! You are giving her a lifetime of memories!

They are all beautiful. Including your GD. It makes me happy to see young people sewing.

Great items to make! I bet she loved the time with you. I am getting ready to try teaching 2 of my GD's to sew...I am almost afraid they will like it and I won't get time to sew by myself! And then they each have a little sister who are 5 that will want to try too...they might have to learn to wait. I hope we can do great things like you have!~

She is a pleasure to sew with. I bought a new Janome 7700 a year ago and told her the old machine was hers. She is now trying to claim the 7700. She loves sewing. We have been doing for over a year now. You will love it.
