Default Placemat Bags

I saw a link to a video on making these bags. They were kind of the shape of the bag DH uses for his shaving kit. Of course they were more girly. LOL. There was a perky young girl doing the video, anyone have a link to it.

You mean kit bags made from placemats? Interesting. I haven't seen the video but if I run across it I will let you know.

Google Placemat TOTES. there are lots of instructions that come up. We did these years ago, and are quick & fun! Here is one video that came up:

I saw that too. They were very cute & looked easy to make. I have a few short zippers but don't have any rectangle placemats to practice on.

I don't have a site, but I do remember seeing one made by Mary Mulari. Maybe if you check the Nancy's Notions blog, you can find a link.

Thank you so much, that's the one. I did remember all the steps, except for the tape on the bed of machine. It helps you get all corners the same. A real time saver, for me. LOL.

That is a very cute and simple project. Good for youngsters to give to friends for birthdays or Christmas.
