Green is my favorite color. I love green. I can't get enough of it. Except that.
They get points for trying and being an industrial the finish was probably missing on the bed anyway but I don't think their vision quite worked out. Their dreams on the price probably won't work out either.

Does that belt actually belong on a sewing machine? It looks like an adjustable V-belt for power equipment like table saws.

So what the heck is a "kick foot sewing machine"? I would have guessed that it meant treadle but maybe not since the add mentions that the table includes electric sockets. Again .... what the heck?

There are a lot of industrials that have a "pedal" like a treadle machine, but the lever controls a bigger motor with a clutch. the electric sockets (outlets) are nice if you have extra lights or something like that to plug in. It's basically have a built in power strip. I've had a lot of larger tables that I've mounted a power strip underneath. In fact, my ironing area has one for the irons and other things we may want to plug in there.

Ah, Cathy, thanks for that explanation. Makes sense now as I have seen those industrials but never up close and personal. I also have a power strip in my studio with a couple of machines and lights hooked up to it. Makes it easier to add another something to plug in or turn off everything at once.

Except for the price, I actually don't hate it. I wouldn't have done it but if you're into a custom-painted machine, it's not badly done imho. I like the color combination.

Ridiculous price, though. And what's up with the bungee cord?

....and to add to the confusion, they continued calling the foot pedal itself, a “treadle”, on the electric power stands with clutch motors, and still do today as far as I know.

The Singer 31-19 is a Class 31 machine with alternating presser feet.

Not my cup of tea! There are too many odd things about this one. But I have to say...I would be alert with looking at the bright paint. The belt does look very odd...I am used to smooth belts on industrials.
I wonder if this person really sews? Kick foot? The pedal is like on a car...you push down a little and it goes like a bat out of H#$% !!!
