Default Quilt started in the 70's

My mother in law started this quilt in the seventies for her granddaughter. We found the pieces when she was in her late eighties and she worked on them until she died. I finished up a few pieces and quilted it. I gave it to my niece. The material wasn't all cotton. It was like perma press or something. Thank goodness she had most of the heart pieces done because they were hard for me to applique.

WOW, I have a bolt of that mauve floral called Chantilly Rose by P&B. Very pretty quilt and I am sure she will treasure it always.

You did a beautiful completion of her quilt. Your niece is a lucky girl to have it finished for her. Great job.
