Default Man Sewing

Have you seen the new videos by Rob Appell? He is hooked in with Missouri Star and has his own Youtube channel.

Here's the link to the new "Burst Block". I think this is neat!

Yes, I watch the Man Sewing videos. I liked the "Burst Block" he demonstrated today.

Just watched the latest video a bit ago and liked the burst block! May try that one at some point, but I think I'd like to add a small sashing of the background around the blocks. Seems like those pieces would be hard to hit exactly to meet from one block to another and the small sashing would hide any slight variations. I think it would still have nearly the same effect.

He's fun to watch even though I might not make what he's demonstrating. For instance, I don't have any plans for the teepee he made last week but enjoyed his enthusiasm in putting it together.

It is great to see a young man to be so enthusiastic about quilting.

I like watching Rob...he is very easy to understand and makes it fun without being obnoxious! I can't see myself making a skateboard quilt anytime soon but I do enjoy the shows.

Yeah, I thought the teepee thing was a bit.......... odd, but the vids are good to watch. I especially like the burst block and can see me making it some day.

The "Burst Block" looks like fun. It sure makes a pretty quilt.
