Default Two more scrappy charity quilts

The first one is from a Quiltville's blog pattern, someone posted one earlier and I found the pattern. Thanks for the link, but forgot who posted it. Made a small charity to see how it went, and when I got the hang of it, it went quickly, and am sure anothr one of these quilts will find its way out of the scrap box.

Abouth the second one: Last week recycler posted a quilt that I copied ("copied" is such a nasty word!), but I guess that is what I did, but used larger squares, from my 4-1/2" box. Now I have made one using 2-1/2" blocks and like the looks of the one so much more. And also have dug out a box of 3" squares that were given to me and making another one from that. This is such a great way to use up scraps.

LoisF posted a Scrappy Mountain on the 16th of July and I put it on my 'hope-to-do' list.

I also have your 4 1/2" version of the second quilt on my list. Now I will need to put a note about using 2 1/2" squares.

Thanks for sharing.
